Digital-asset funding is fast when every field matches—and unforgiving when it does not. Before sending USDT or USDC to a virtual card account, treat the transfer like a bank payment with an account number, currency and route to verify.
Before you press send
- Check the asset. USDT and USDC are different assets even when the ticker looks familiar.
- Check the network. Select exactly the network shown by the receiving page. Do not assume ERC20, TRC20, BSC, Polygon or another route is interchangeable.
- Copy the address from the current screen. Compare the first and last characters after pasting to catch clipboard replacement.
- Check the minimum. Do not send an amount that is below the stated minimum. For VCard, the current notice says transfers below 10 USDT-equivalent cannot be credited and are permanently lost; this rule must be rechecked before every transfer.
- Allow for exchange and network fees. The amount leaving an exchange may be lower than the amount you intended to credit.
After sending
Save the transaction hash and wait for the provider’s required network confirmations and risk checks. A blockchain transaction can be visible before the card balance is available. Never send a second transfer just because the first one has not appeared yet.
If a transfer is flagged as a risk transaction, the provider may freeze or return it according to its current policy. Use the official support channel and provide the transaction reference; never share a private key or seed phrase.
Fees and the first test
Funding and conversion fees vary with the provider and market conditions. The VCard notice currently describes a 2% digital-asset conversion fee with a 1 USDT-equivalent minimum, but verify the live screen because commercial rules can change.
For a first use, fund a controlled amount above the minimum, confirm the credit, then run a small merchant test. Do not “test” by sending an amount below the minimum.
